propaganda, killer governments, the big hurt, and one nosey principal...

congress has it's panties in a not again...and contrary to the apparent wishes of senator frist, it isn't over the mistreatment of millionaire crybaby terrell owens by his millionaire bosses...no, it's about the pentagon putting out propaganda in iraq with the help of such underhanded tricks like paying newspapers to publish stories they wrote and translated. is anyone surprised? is anyone seriously upset over this? buying space in newspapers and television spots? using propaganda as part of a war effort...yea...that is so unamerican. if we are trying to support freedom of the press as the west has it...shouldn't we be pushing for more stuff like this? and when was the last time anyone on any side failed to utilize propaganda when in war? but atleast they aren't talking about how the eagles won't let t.o. play for them or anyone else...suppose it is a step back in the right direction.

hope everyone is throwing a big party today to celebrate execution number 1,000 (officially) in this country since the death penalty was reinstated a few decades ago. proud, proud day. north carolina got the honors...beating out south carolina by a day. suppose it could be worse, singapore just executed a foreigner for trafficking herione...not for the usual fun-stuff that we think of associated with trafficking (you know, murders, rapes, the good old fashioned "death eligible" crimes)...just plain old trafficking of herione. are we headed that way? seems like the only way the death penalty will really work like it is supposed to is if you just kill everyone for everything. watch crime drop...we should try it...take a cue from singapore...public hangings for jaywalking.

frank thomas will be leaving the white sox...i hate the white sox, but i love baseball, and frank thomas is one of the greatest pure hitters to ever play the game. the wonderful thing about the big hurt...never associated with cheating, not even when his numbers dropped down to only really good and his bones started to crumble under his "padded" frame. chicago will miss you frank...

more evidence of why i tend not to trust/like school administrators...some principal in california got sued because he was such a prick that he called a girl's mom to disclose that her daughter was gay. this schmuck made this girl's life so much hell that she had to transfer...watching her grades slip (she had been a straight A student). at a time when children should be nurtured and encouraged to express their individuality and discover themselves this guy made it his business to ensure that this girl and her girlfriend were split. hell...they should have given her an award for having the courage to give assholes like this a big "fuck you and your ignorant views" by being open about her sexuality in one of the most unforgiving environments...high school. so to Charlene Nguon...stick it to the man. and to Ben Wolf, the overzealous nosey principal of Santiago High School(12342 Trask Ave., Garden Grove, CA 92843 in case you wanted to know where not to send your child) may you never be allowed to work with children again.
