the book is becoming full again...so here is a dumping of some thoughts to ponder from the latest of my readings...

[which is why I proud to call myself an "elitist" as popularly conceived...and why I rant against the true elites that are destroying this nation and your livelihood]

"United States' public policy treats families almost entirely as a personal responsibility, rather than a social priority." - Jacob Hacker [if they were truly concerned with "family values" stable familes would be a priority...unfortunately stable families don't fund lobbyists]

"alarm about 'big government' has not extended to the enormous subsidies given to big business." - Howard Zinn [the conservative elite...they only care about supply and demand when it means your wages fall and their accounts bulge...they only care about big government when it isn't supplying billions and billions and billions of dollars to war makers every year]
"we are unavoidably side by side." - Immanuel Kant [and yet they want us to look at our neighbor and scream it is they who has cost us our standard of living...diverting attention from the horrors that the elite have brought upon the world]
and now for some hope from a man that still manages to give even this black heart some...

so turn off your damn computer...stop reading this and get out there and make some noise...learn what they do not want you to know...educate yourself...educate those you know...don't let them take that from you...

So then, the question is this: "How do we arouse the citizenry?"
Here are the pieces of the puzzle:
-- How do we explain to Kansas that the rake handle they think they are shoving up their 'enemies' rectum is actually shaped like a U and turning them into the sodomite they think they hate (in a way they will understand; we want them to understand!)?
-- How do we present these people with facts they will be open to listening to without causing them to think we are democrats?
-- How to convince them that we are not democrats.
-- How to show democrats that their rural enemies are, were, and always will be more 'environmentally friendly' than they are. Have they even been to the south? Do they have any concept of how resourceful you must be when money is low? What's more conscious:
A) buying an $899.00 Hudson Solid Oak Glass-door'd Cabinet from Crate and Barrel because it matches your designers theme for the den (made from strong German Oak).
B) buying an $150 similar version from ikea (made in vietnam under good conditions from 73% post-consumer recycled tree pulp and glue with an oak veneer).
C) Going to the goodwill and making do with the slightly chipped one for $6.99 (maybe painting it for another $10?).
D) Nailing together and sawing scrap lumber found near the dumpster in the alley and mixing up old paint from the tool shed for what amounts to an afternoon's worth of labor.
-- How to bring these two sides to the logical middle, side-by-side to see that there are no enemies, just people who have been lied to in different ways?
Not through politics, that's for sure. The system isn't set up for that. For as good as you think you are, you must compromise nearly every moral you ascribe to in order to even be considered a viable candidate.
How to present facts in a non-threatening way to as many people (see: big children) as possible so that they do not feel like they are being preached at?

Hmmmm.... I'm thinking... It's almost there, but until I have a good answer....
Everyone likes ice cream. How about injecting a truth serum in all ice cream (Go scientists, go!)?
